Like the ‘Cinnamon Challenge’, simply downing a spoonful of Kratom is best to be avoided.
To ingest it properly, without coughing the powder all over the place, you first need take a couple of quick breaths, followed by one long deep breath. Hold this breath and slowly exhale through the nose.
While exhaling, put a teaspoon of Kratom powder in your mouth, followed by a sip of water or juice. Don’t swallow just yet though!
Swish the mixture through your mouth until well blended and then swallow with some more water or juice.
Fruit acids such as those present in lemons or grapefruit dissolve Kratom alkaloids, increase the absorption rate and allow effects to come on much faster.
